The first question asks "What brings you to ҹɫÍõ³¯?" Answer, degree programs and certificates. Under "I want to take classes as a", Answer visiting/transient student.

If you are a former ҹɫÍõ³¯ student, you will need to reapply if you have not attended ҹɫÍõ³¯ in the past three semesters.

Allow three to five business days to process your application. Application must be processed prior to generating the letter of consent (Step 3).

As soon as your application is processed, the College will generate your my ҹɫÍõ³¯ space account. Here, you will obtain important information regarding registration, financial aid and course planning. You can also access your student email through my ҹɫÍõ³¯ space. Check your email regularly for important updates.

2. Enter your student email address (format: S-number@acad.tri-c.edu - example: S00000000@acad.tri-c.edu) and click "Next."
3. Enter your birthday as your old password with no leading zeros for single-digit dates (format: mm/dd/yyyy - example 1/1/1999) and click "Sign in."
4. You will next be required to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access certain ҹɫÍõ³¯ applications or tools. MFA is required by the college due to federal regulations.
5. Please set up multiple MFA methods. Click on "I want to set up a different method" to set up a mobile phone number for SMS. Read for additional instructions.
6. Enter your birthday again as your current password and create a new password. Your new password needs to include three of these four categories, and eight characters minimum: lowercase letter, uppercase letter, number, and symbol/special character.
7. Go to for self-service tools and help articles, including Password and MFA reset.

• Obtain written approval from your home institution. The letter must list the ҹɫÍõ³¯ courses you are requesting to take. You can generate a here for your academic advisor to sign. Your ҹɫÍõ³¯ application for admission must be processed prior to generating your letter. 
• Attach and submit the approval letter to the online
• If you are unable to get the Letter of Consent from your college you can submit a copy of your unofficial transcript via the . By submitting an unofficial transcript, you request that ҹɫÍõ³¯ make an eligibility determination, which is final. 

Incomplete forms or missing documentation will result in a processing delay.

Once your transient form is processed, confirmation will be sent to your ҹɫÍõ³¯ email with instructions on how to register.

Register for classes in the Registration Dashboard on  or in person at Admissions and Financial Services.

Your registration is not complete until you pay your tuition and fees. You must select your form of payment at the time of registration and ensure that all financial arrangements are in place by the payment deadline. 

Visiting students are not eligible to receive federal financial aid from ҹɫÍõ³¯. Please contact your home institution to determine if you are eligible to receive federal financial aid from their office, under a consortium agreement. For more information, or to submit your consortium agreement, contact the financial aid office at consortiums@tri-c.edu.

You will need your Stomp Card to conduct business on any ҹɫÍõ³¯ campus. You can get your picture taken and have your card printed at Admissions and Enrollment Services after you have registered for courses.

Students taking a visiting/transient course must request that an official ҹɫÍõ³¯ transcript be sent to their home school in order to earn the credit. Students must initiate this process by ordering a transcript from the Registrar's Office.
